The Bremont U-2 collection was designed exclusively for, and tested by, the elite Spy Plane Squardon based at Beale, California. Known for taking their planes as far up as 80,000 feet on reconnaissance missions Bremont knew the Squardon were the perfect team to test their U-2 chronometer. Tested to a height of 100,000 feet and to temperatures as low as -40 degrees celcius both in laboratory's and out on missions, the U-2 has proven its place as one of the most robust and reliable chronometers. Presented in a hardened stainless steel three piece Trip-Tick® case with a central blue barrel, the watch features an internal patented bi-directional Roto-Click® bezel operated from the crown at 4 o'clock. The dial is a striking midnight blue with Super-LumiNova coated numerals and hands and features a day and date window at 3 o'clock. The chronometer tested timepiece is presented on a blue calf-skin leather strap with a steel pin buckle. Water resistant to 100m. Saphire crystal case back.
