Every mechanical or quartz watch purchased from Leonard Dews will need servicing regularly to ensure its longevity and continued accuracy. Each brand will recommend different repair intervals. OMEGA now offer five years guarantees, but for all other brands we recommend leaving 2-3 years between each service.

We are able to organise repairs and servicing for all watch brands supplied in-store. Our dedicated Customer Service team will facilitate the safe return of your watches to the individual brands where they will be looked after with the upmost care and attention.

We may also be able to organise servicing for brands not sold in store, please contact our customer service team to enquire further.

Adjustments

Our in-store team are qualified to carry out the majority of adjustments on watch bracelets and straps.

This service is usually complimentary for all watches purchased from us. Some exclusions may apply. Parts may also be chargeable.

Battery Replacements

We recommend that a trained professional carry out this procedure to avoid irreparable damage, and to protect your warranty.

We are able to carry out some battery replacements on site, but for water resistant watches, or Patek Philippe and OMEGA watches, we will always recommend that pieces go back to the brand for this to be carried out.

The price of this service will depend on the complexity, work required and the brand.

If your watch has not been serviced in the recommended time frame specified by each brand, they may recommend that this take place at the same time as a battery replacement.

As with all the services we offer, we will endeavour to complete the work as quickly as possible, however, it is important to note that the dates quoted on a receipt are an estimate only. Some repairs may be subject to delays due to availability of parts, more complex work required, holiday periods, etc.
