This TISSOT Le Locle Powermatic 80 timepiece features a 39.3mm stainless steel case with a matching bracelet strap. Elegantly brought together on its black dial with slim silver hands and roman numeral indexes, this watch helps to add style and sophistication to any occasion. All powered by a Swiss Powermatic 80.111 automatic movement.
Le Locle is an ingredient of success as well as being the name of Tissot's home and heritage. The model displays an incredible elegance and a traditional Le Locle signature.
Automatic watches are powered by the energy of the person that's wearing it. It's the person's wrist movement that enables the mechanism to run. This is where the Powermatic 80 movement boasts about it's 80 hours of power reserve. Which is enough to continue telling time accurately even if the watch is not worn for three days. It's an innovative movement that outperforms the competition, whose movements generally can only provide 1.5 days of power reserve.
A sapphire crystal gives a watch a multitude of properties. Ranging from an extremely high resistance to impact, to superior screen and hand readability thanks to its transparency. Due to it being the strongest material after diamonds, it's used in fine timepieces for its anti-scratch prowess.
