Christie Golf Day

 Christie Golf Day

It is with great pleasure, that I, along with our friends at The Christie Hospital in Manchester, invite you to the second annual Christie Golf Day in support of their continuing research into Prostate Cancer, on Thursday 2nd July 2015.

This event is again to be held at the world renowned course at The Royal Lytham and St Annes Golf Club and stands to be another excellent day golfing. A light meal will be provided following your game with plenty to keep you entertained throughout the day with nearest the pin, beat the pro and Instinctive Golf with Kendal McWade

Teams of four are invited to play in the 18 hole Stableford competition with prizes awarded throughout the day for top 3 teams, triers and nearest to pin. Furthermore, there will be a prize of £400 for the winning team with smaller monetary prizes for 2nd -6th!

There will also be a chance for you to try your hand at ‘beat the pro’ or take part in a Sensory Golf Experience with Kendal McWade and to test your skills after you play.

The Pro will also be on hand to offer hints and tips throughout the day.

We would also like to invite you to join us for dinner the evening before at The Grand Hotel, Lytham St Annes. The evening will be hosted by Paul Dobe and will feature a charity auction, raffle, table entertainment, live band and a glorious four course meal.  Dinner is included for all golfers and additional guests are £100.

Our intention for the day is to raise much needed money for the continuing research carried out into Prostate cancer at The Christie Hospital, Manchester. The Christie Charity raises funds to help provide additional services and undertake vital research for cancer patients and is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, treating more than 40,000 patients a year. This is a cause very close to my heart after being diagnosed with Prostate cancer earlier this year.

We do hope you will all join us for what is set to be a great days golfing and an evening of good food and top class entertainment. As places are limited we encourage you to let us know as soon as possible if you would like to attend to avoid disappointment, however, if you are unable to attend and still wish to support us then please contact and we will be happy to supply you with information about the various sponsorship opportunities available.
